• 2 Killed In Fully-Engulfed Cabin Fire

  RIO BLANCO COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – The Rio Blanco Sheriff’s Office says a fire killed two people and destroyed a cabin Saturday night. First responders had to access the cabin on County Road 14 by snowmobile.
  Officials say the two people inside were unable to escape. Two others were able to get out and call for help.
  Further details about the victims and survivors have not been released.

  MESA COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – Election officials in Mesa County say they found 574 ballots from the November election in 2019. The ballots were never picked up.

  WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (CBS4) — Residents in the 3900 block of Quay Street in Wheat Ridge have been advised by police to shelter in place while SWAT team members attempt to persuade a man to come out of a home and surrender to police.
  The unidentified man is believed to have shot another adult male in the hand earlier this morning, according to Sarah Spaulding, spokesperson for the Wheat Ridge Police Department.
