  LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — The NBA announced Friday it would resume the 2020 season July 30 with a doubleheader that will see the Los Angeles Clippers and the Los Angeles Lakers face off at the Walt Disney World Resort.

  LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – The Los Angeles City Council could lift the mandate Wednesday requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination to enter many indoor establishments and large outdoor events.

  IRVINE (CBSLA) — A mountain lion was captured today after into ran into an Irvine business.
  The mountain lion was seen swimming in Orange County over the weekend and appears to have been tracked down to Irvine.
  Animal control and law enforcement initially tried to sedate the mountain lion but failed. The animal then ran into a nearby business. Authorities were able to tranquilize the big cat shortly after.
