    PERRIS (CBSLA) — A Perris woman is recovering from an attack by two pit-bulls after the animals escaped from their owner’s home two weeks after his death.
    Angel Valenzuela says he heard the woman screaming last Thursday evening about an hour before nightfall. She was walking her bicycle down a dirt road in Perris when she crossed paths with two loose dogs.

  • Stolen Vehicle Pursuit Suspects In Custody After Bailing On Foot On 110 Freeway

    SOUTH LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — Two suspects were placed in custody Monday after bailing on foot on the southbound 110 Freeway.
    LAPD officers were in pursuit of a possible stolen vehicle at approximately 5:30 p.m. when the driver traveled the wrong way on the Vernon off-ramp. Two people exited the vehicle on the busy freeway and began running on foot. They were taken into custody within minutes.

    ANAHEIM (CBSLA) — A wooden plank on a bridge in Disneyland reportedly broke on Sunday afternoon.
    The plank was part of a suspension bridge that sits three stories above the ground as part of the Tarzan’s Treehouse attraction.

    LAKE VIEW TERRACE (CBSLA) – A slow-moving brush fire broke out near the Hansen Dam Recreation Area in Lake View Terrace early Monday morning.
    The blaze broke out in the 11700 block of West Foothill Boulevard sometime before 1 a.m.

    The planet Mercury began passing across the middle of the sun Monday morning and will continue to do so for more than five hours.
