    The OC Health Care Agency reported 75 new cases of the coronavirus on Wednesday, April 7, increasing the cumulative total in the county to 251,516 cases since tracking began.
    There were 1,577 new infections per 100,000 people reported in the past 14 days. That’s down 22 infections per 100,000 from the previous day’s report.
    There were seven new deaths reported Wednesday, raising the total number of COVID-19 fatalities to 4,791.
