    Covent Garden unveils outdoor dining plans
    An estimated 500 extra table seats will be created around Covent Garden next week as restaurants as over 25 restaurants across the Covent Garden estate open with alfresco seating from 12th April.
    The new alfresco seating will span 7 streets as well as the Piazza, with the majority of covers providing weatherproof drinking and dining options for visitors, with heaters, large parasols and windbreak screens.

    The Regent’s Canal sharks have moved to Islington
    Some sharks that have been hanging around the Regents Canal in Hackney have swum up the canal a bit and can now be found in the City Road Basin, in Islington.They’re art and surprisingly controversial art at that.
    The fibreglass sharks were the winning entry in an annual art competition run by Hackney based Antepavilion, but provoked the ire of the council as putting them in the canal lacked planning permission.

    This is a short little passageway between a couple of the posh shops that line a similarly named lane just off Bond Street.What was originally called South Moulton Row was laid out in the 1720s by the Grosvenor family, but initially, only with buildings on the eastern side.
