    USA clinches Curtis Cup after dominant singles display
    The United States produced a commanding final-day performance to defeat Great Britain & Ireland 13-7 and reclaim the Curtis Cup at Bel-Air Country Club in Los Angeles.
    Although the contest appeared finely balanced heading into Sunday singles matches, with GB&I trailing by just two points at 7-5, it was the hosts who pulled away emphatically, winning six of the eight matches to secure a comprehensive six-point victory.

    Knipes claims victory at Motocaddy Championship
    Essex-born tour player Curtis Knipes claimed victory in the Clutch Pro Tour‘s Motocaddy Championship after shooting rounds of 68, 63 and 67 at Bishop’s Stortford Golf Club.
    Knipes, 25, who who hails from Chelmsford but is attached to Hanbury Manor, finished on -12 for 54 holes, beating Josh Hilleard and Ben Hutchinson by two shots, with the latter closing with a five-under 65 to share the runner’s up spoils.
