    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Police have arrested two men who are accused of shooting two people in North Sacramento in November 2018 and killing one person.
    On November 29, 2018, at 8:22 p.m., two people being shot in the 7100 block of Flanders Way in north Sacramento. One of the victims, 86-year-old John Barton, died.

    STOCKTON (CBS13) – Four people were arrested following a carjacking and high-speed chase in Stockton over the weekend.

  • Man Accused Of Nearly Burning Partner To Death In Roseville

    ROSEVILLE (CBS13) – A woman is in critical condition with life-threatening burns that she received from her partner, say police.
    On Saturday around 10:55 p.m., police were called to a home in the 1800 block of South Cirby Way. There, they found a woman who was severely burned. She was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to Roseville police.

    WASHINGTON (AP) – Sales of existing U.S. homes fell in March after a huge gain the previous month, held back partly by a sharp slowdown among the most expensive properties.
    The National Association of Realtors says home sales fell 4.9% to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 5.21 million, down from 5.48 million in February. The drop followed an 11.2 percent gain the previous month, the largest in more than three years.

  • Man Suspected Of DUI In Deadly South Sacramento Crash

    SOUTH SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A driver suspected of DUI is behind bars in connection with a deadly crash in South Sacramento over the weekend.
    The crash happened Saturday night just before 9 p.m. at the intersection of Franklin Boulevard and Idaho Drive. The driver, 35-year-old Allen Vang, allegedly hit another car with 3 people inside.

    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Police are searching for the driver of a van that crashed into the front of a Sacramento Starbucks.
    The crash happened around 3 a.m. at the store near Arena Boulevard and Duckhorn Drive, police say.
    Most of the damage was caused to the front of the store. Fortunately, no one was in the store when the crash happened.

    SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY (CBS13) — A man is behind bars for, according to police, waving what looked like a handgun at cars in San Joaquin County.
    They say 26-year-old Ernest Pickens was waving an airsoft pistol at traffic near Copperopolis and Tulsa Roads.
