    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Target is recalling nearly a half million Christmas-themed toy cars sold in its Bullseye’s Playground due to a choking hazard.
    The little wooden cars feature Santa in a sleigh, a firetruck, a taxi, a caboose, an ice cream truck, a train, a police car, and a digger. The eight cars were sold both individually and as an 8-pack in stores and online from October 2018 through November 2018. Each car cost about $1, with the 8-pack costing $8.

  • Ceres Police Officers Report Increase In Firearm Replica BB Guns

    CERES (CBS13) – Police in Ceres say they’re seeing an uptick in people carrying BB guns that look almost indistinguishable from real guns.
    The Ceres Police Department said in a Facebook post on Thursday that officers have been finding the toy guns in people’s waistbands and in vehicles.

    SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) – A man is under arrest after a short chase in Sacramento County Thursday morning.
    The chase ended on Lerwick Road, off of Edison Avenue.
    According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were about to serve a search warrant at a home when the suspect pulled out and drove away – not knowing SWAT was in front of the home.
