    CHICO (CBS13) – A wanted man out of Sacramento County was arrested in Chico after residents managed to zip-tie him inside a garage.
    The incident happened early Friday morning at a home along Lazy S Lane. Chico police say they got a call around 4:30 a.m. from a woman who said her husband was fighting a burglary suspect.

  • Search On For Inmate Who Walked Away From Mule Creek State Prison

    IONE (CBS13) – Authorities are asking people to be on the lookout for an inmate who walked away from Mule Creek State Prison on Thursday.
    The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation says 34-year-old Zechariah Lee was found to be missing during the inmate count Thursday night. Lee was being housed at the minimum support facility at Mule Creek.

    GALT (CBS13) – Five people escaped from a trailer house fire early Friday morning.

    TRACY (CBS13) — Corrections officials say a fight at the Deuel Vocational Institution in Tracy led to a guard shooting an inmate.
    It happened this afternoon in the main recreation yard.
