• Roseville High School Placed On Lockdown As Precaution Over Rumors Of Gun On Campus

    ROSEVILLE (CBS13) – Roseville High School was placed on lockdown Wednesday after a student reported overhearing a conversation in which a gun was mentioned.
    That student reported the conversation to authorities and police were notified. But officers have not been able to locate a gun, police say.

    ROSEVILLE (CBS13) – A Roseville High School student was arrested Monday after a letter threatening to shoot a school staff member was allegedly found in his possession.

    DAVIS (CBS13) – Several people were injured in a weather-related crash involving seven vehicles on westbound Interstate 80 in Davis.
    All lanes of the freeway are back open, but that wasn’t the case earlier Wednesday morning. The crash happened around 2:45 a.m. near Highway 113. It started when a vehicle crashed — possibly hit the guardrail — and bounced back out into the roadway, then slowing or stopping in the middle lanes. Six other vehicles then hit that vehicle.

    YOLO (CBS13) — Three high school students are being hailed as heroes after stopping an attempted carjacking. It happened just as school got out Tuesday afternoon at Cache Creek High in the small town of Yolo.

    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A federal judge has granted a temporary restraining order barring a local county from enforcing its no-camping policy and stopping local law enforcement from taking or destroying belongings.
