    Dozens of people gathered at the site of the memorial Saturday at an event organized by a group called ASALAH, the Association for the Study of African-American Life and History.

    The Vans Warped Tour is going on today at the concert venue. It began at 11 a.m.
    According to Washington County emergency officials, at least 13 people were transported to the hospital for treatment due to heat-related problems and dehydration.

    NOLA.com reports an alpaca and fox died Sunday, the day after the male jaguar killed four alpacas, one emu and one fox Saturday morning. The jaguar was captured and returned to its night house after being sedated by a vet team.
    No people were hurt and the zoo was reopened Sunday.
