Starbucks is closing down 8,000 US stores on the afternoon of May 29 to conduct racial-bias education for nearly 175,000 employees.
The training comes just days after a Starbucks store in Philadelphia came under fire for arresting two black men who were waiting to meet with someone. Following a review that began in December, Dunkin’ Donuts has named BBDO Worldwide its creative agency of record.
The move officially ends the coffee brand's longtime relationship with Boston-based Hill Holliday, which previously served as its agency of record for nearly 20 years. The IPG-owned agency is responsible for the brand's famous 'America Runs on Dunkin' tagline.
