• Shocking jump in number of deaths caused by dementia

    Bill Gates announced yesterday, that he is introducing the Diagnostics Accelerator, a project of the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF), to further  ideas for earlier and better diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. He is leading funding with a $30million investment.     A scheme designed to encourage friendship amongst men and help prevent loneliness has been launched in Maidenhead.
     
    The Men in Sheds initiative involves a number of community spaces for men to connect, converse and create.
