Last night, Lane Hutson played his very first NHL game in a Canadiens uniform.
And the little defenseman did well under the circumstances.
He finished the game with an assist, a shot on goal and almost 22 minutes of playing time (21:54). Everyone was excited to see him in action, and let’s just say he didn’t disappoint in his big-league debut.
Tonight, we’ll see another young Montreal defenseman play his first career game on the Bettman circuit.

Last night, Lane Hutson made his NHL debut. It was, of course, a moment eagerly awaited by everyone in Montreal.
The American had the chance to play at home, in Detroit. And even though the Canadiens lost in overtime (5-4), the young man no doubt has memories to last a lifetime.

Tonight, Lane Hutson made his Habs debut. For the occasion, the kid really didn’t look bad, even earning a point in only his second career appearance.
He almost gave the Habs the win in overtime, but his shot was saved, and the Red Wings won seconds later.
