    Comedian Kitty Flanagan will depart ABC comedy show The Weekly with Charlie Pickering after 4 seasons.
    She announced the news last night on the show with a comedic “In Memoriam” song parody.
    Flanagan and Pickering previously worked together on TEN’s Project before she joined his break-away show on ABC.
    Pickering confirmed she would return for a 2018 “Yearly” special in December.

    Former Wizards of Waverly Place actor David Henrie has apologised after being arrested on Monday for bringing a loaded handgun to Los Angeles International Airport.

  • The Family Law final season to premiere at Adelaide Film Festival

    The third and final season of The Family Law will have its World Premiere at the Adelaide Film Festival on October 17.
    The series based on the memoirs of writer Benjamin Law features Trystan Go, Fiona Choi and Anthony Brandon Wong. Although the show carries a Queensland backdrop, producers Matchbox Pictures also have a new Adelaide-based office, hence the SA premiere.
    SBS is yet to announce a broadcast date, due later this year.

    SKY News presenter Alan Jones has lost a high profile defamation case in relation to comments he made on Radio 2GB and 4BC.
    Jones and 2GB /4BC have been ordered to pay around $3.75 million in damages (including interest) to Toowoomba-based Wagner family following a series of radio broadcasts between 2014 and 2015.
