ABC3’s Ready for This and Doodles have both been nominated at the International Emmy Kids Awards.

Doodles by Ludo Studio is nominated in the Digital category and faces off against entries from Japan, Canada and Brazil.

Nine’s former Managing Director Programming and Production Andrew Backwell will work as a consultant to TV3 in New Zealand.

Sunday just about all went Nine’s way with The Block pulling out its biggest episode so far this season with 1.28m viewers.
It trumped X Factor (815,000), Grand Designs (698,000) and was twice the size of Australian Survivor (660,000).
Nine was already leading in primary channel shares when GO!’s movies Kung Fu Panda and Transformers: Dark of the Moon pulled out 259,000 and 216,000 respectively and pushed the channel to a 6.4%. share.
